I'm flicking channels and stop at Dancing with the stars for a sec. Their backstage interviewing one of the couples and all of a sudden you hear all these booos! They ask each other what is all the booing going on? I have no idea what's going on?

The cameras switch back out to the host and he's sitting next to Palin.
I guest they let her know they didn't want her there!!

and the judges get booed almost every week on DWTS, no matter who is in the audience, when the "fan favorite" (in this case, Jennifer Gray) gets 8s instead of 9s.

They show everything that was going on right here (below), so there is no question. The booing is because of the scores. The crowd is booing and saying "NINE!" Then, the applause begins as soon as Tom B mentions Sarah Palin. No producers or hosts had any time to tell anyone to do or NOT do anything. Jeez.
