A box style building wouldn't have failed in such a big way. The World Trade Center collapsed like an accordian and the air pressure escaping looked like explosions.

The Gulf of Tonkin incident wasn't a "false flag," it was an excuse and a pretext. But it did happen, if it was exaggerated for political reasons...

I've just been watching Fox News for half an hour now tonight, I hadn't even noticed it was on my TV package up there at channel 500 and something.

It's pretty shocking to me to be honest even though I've seen many clips before. I don't mean the views expressed so much as the complete and utter lack of any sort of integrity.

It reminds me of the news stations in Starship Troopers or something.

Even ignoring the insane manipulations you see in politics there was just a 'review' segment from the car guy on a very ugly new Chevrolet without saying a single negative thing about it. Funniest bit was the 'Super economy mode' which gave it 26 mpg. So a commercial but not flagged as one.

Ironically it came after a ten minute tirade against the Obama stimulus...

What can possibly make working class Americans think that their interests are the same as those of Australian multinational media billionaires...?

I know. How dare they not tote the Leftist/Liberal/Socialist agenda as does most other news organizations.

          Liberal news orgs = integrity?

I don't watch the rest of the US news outlets but I can tell you that Fox News is not news. It's complete manipulation like something from 1984. If you get your information from it then you are saying you want to be spoonfed bullshit from Australian billionaires like a zombie sheep.

Also how come Fox trails all the time about how it is the biggest most important influential 'news' channel and then spends the rest of the time ranting on about the domination of the liberal media?

Fox news was only good when Kiran Chetry's legs were on it.

That's the only good thing about it.

They must tour the asylums of America looking for cute blondes with political science degrees from dubious universities.

Nah, truth be told, most of these scatterbrains can be found at local watering holes on any given weekend, spouting off about the equality of women and damning men's sexist motives, all the while hoping some guy will come along and buy them free drinks. Sadly, the truly insightful ones just so happen to be the institutionalized ones, and require not only a visitor's pass, but a court order to meet with them.

I suppose you fall into the crowd that believes David Rockefeller used his earth quake HAARP machine to make those towers fall or they planted tiny nukes into the buildings?

As far as the Gulf of Tonkin goes, it's who's story you believe. McNamara didn't know if it really happened or not. The North Vietmese say they attacked the Maddox but not on the day Lindon Johnson said it happened. As far as a false flag goes many people use that term regarding the Gulf of Tonkin incident. It's all how you define it. It can be it never happened or a very small incident was blown out of proportion as an excuse to start a war. Clearly Johnson wanted a war.

MSNBC leans to the left but they did have the Republobitch Norah O' Donnell. The thing is these people get paid good money to play a part and read what the boss' want them to. It's like a reality TV show, it's staged. Follow the money. It's what they are really after more than having some deep political convictions.

The owners of these networks and their banking and corporate buddies play a game of ping pong. Democrat, Republican, Democrat. Clinton, Bush, Obama. People were sick of Clinton and voted Bush in and then they were sick of Bush and voted Obama in. As this game of ping pong goes on and they play both sides they continue to get more power and money. It didn't matter if a right wing president or a far left leaning president was in office, they got their bailout money and a continued license to speculate with interest free loans from the Federal Reserve.
