Of course the new healthcare bill was probably written by the most corrupt health insurance companies and the pharmaceutical companies. That's what I'm smelling in the air and what they did is real sick. They take a bad situation and then use that as the spring board to sell socialized medicine. In the middle of the night on Christmas eve they then pass the bill with no time for anyone to read it. Now when we get to see what they passed, it's a health insurance bankruptsy bill so now everyone's premiums shoot to the sky because they want to make as much money as they can before they go under. Then the Department of Health and Human Services starts to give exemptions to companies that play ball. So this is fascist healthcare and not socialized healthcare and the government and private companies are making a sick monopoly. In other words, they took a horrible situation and made it horrendous. The whole damn thing needs to be scrapped because it offers no solution.

We can all debate nutrition and how you get it but when you’re sick, there’s no debate. In some cases when you’re sick you die. We can all debate “health care” when you’re healthy and preventative measures. When you’re sick, and you need help and you get help: Pay your own bill.

This is what needs to change. Until everyone pays their own bill, it won’t happen.

It's not about "not paying bills". It's about not paying a criminal insurance industry which does NOTHING to prevent or treat illness or injury.

No, you are flat wrong FORD. Single payer doesn’t mean single payer. It’s a full bore government program funded by many tax payers. Not one ‘Single payer’ pays their own bill.

When you visit the doctor or have a hospital stay a third party pays the bill.

Pharma and Health care are for profit industries.

Let me make this easy for everyone: There is a direct relationship between profitability and the willingness to invest in R&D.
That’s exactly why government run health care won’t work under the current system.

We can disagree or agree on strategy and reform for real change but going from bad to worse still puts money in insurance coffers and allows your medical environment to be determined by an undeserving politician and a group of self important sociologists.

It's about the government taking over the insurance role and taking it out of the hands of the for profit corporations who do nothing but take your money and then still try to get out of paying the bill when you see the doctors.

Not that hospitals should be for profit corporations either, but that's a separate discussion. This is about eliminating a criminal insurance industry which contributes nothing of value to this planet whatsoever.

Obamacare is too unpopular. The new house will defund it and then once Obama is gone we can get rid of it for good. Then we can look at tort reform, group plans, and buying insurance across state lines. Hell, maybe even some price caps. We don't need a heath dictatorship and the hidden taxes they wrote in and the 42 new government agencies. We don't need any more of those. We don't need TSA at the hospital.
