Anything can happen. Obama came from nowhere. When he first popped up nobody took him seriously that he could even win. But then we were all tired of previous family members getting the presidency. We didn't want another Clinton in the White House.

I would say a cap on what can be spent on a campaign. There are some good rich people, they all aren't bad. We do it with racing. You have different classes because you put an indy car against a stock car the indy car will win every time. So you have classes to keep things fair. Make a ceiling that most candidates can meet and then they have to battle within that budget.

The problem is that the lobbyist run Washington now...........even the lame attempt at campaign finance reform was filled with loop holes that every candidate took advantage of. Now corporations are literally given a blank check to donate to any party, for any amount of money they feel the need to spend.

We The People are the problem because we're too lazy/apathetic to do a damn thing about it.
