    SkyNet has arrived folks!

The evil geniuses at Northrop Grumman successfully completed the first flight of its X-47B unmanned stealth bomber a few days ago at Edwards Air Force Base in Edwards, California. In the air for a full twenty-nine minutes, the tailless, fighter-sized UAV flew to 5,000 feet and completed several racetrack-type patterns, before landing safely at 2:38 pm PST. The aircraft will continue to undergo tests at Edwards AFB before heading to Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, later this year. The ultimate goal is to get this bad boy taking off and landing on US Navy carriers. Carrier trials are currently slated for sometime in 2013. Video, PR after the break.

        Very interesting......

Moral objections aside, it only makes sense.....no G-Force other than structural concerns to worry about. Faster more maneuverable than the human body could tolerate.........

Still never see them totally replacing man in the air or on the battlefield but video game war's the future.

When one nation can damage another and it costs that nation nothing in life to wage war, it's not a good thing. We don't need so called clone wars. Wars end because the human cost adds up to be too high. Why has the wars in the middle east gone on longer than Vietnam? No draft and less US casualties. That's why. The more you keep the war hidden, the longer it will go on.

.......In 2009, a year before Stuxnet was discovered, Scott Borg of the United States Cyber-Consequences Unit (US-CCU) suggested that Israel might prefer to mount a cyber-attack rather than a military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.[55] According to Borg this kind of attack could involve disrupting sensitive equipment such as centrifuges using malware introduced via infected memory sticks: "Since the autumn of 2002, I have regularly predicted that this sort of cyber-attack tool would eventually be developed ... Israel certainly has the ability to create Stuxnet and there is little downside to such an attack, because it would be virtually impossible to prove who did it. So a tool like Stuxnet is Israel's obvious weapon of choice."

By the way, there were reports of "objects in the sky" in Utah a few days ago that looked extremely similar to this:

If they can land one of those on a pitching carrier deck in bad weather then they have replaced pilots.

Maybe dogfighting has become obsolete? They thought this was the case in the Vietnam era where missiles would replace the machine gun and dog fighting tactics. This turned out to be a false assumption due to humidity effecting missile performance and targets being lost because they were too close to use a missile safely.

Not much dogfighting anymore where air power is mostly used for ground support and bombing. Maybe a war against another major power would be different but that may never happen due to the destructive nature of super power weaponry. China isn't going to mix it up that way. They still want our resources and technology. They will play economic and cyber warfare instead and when you think about that, maybe World War III has already begun.

I agree that China has been involved in Cyber Espionage for years.......they've hacked our power grid, defense computer systems, and numerous businesses.....read the 2007, '08, and '09 USCC congressional reports and every year they concludes that "...the single greatest risk to the security of American technologies," is China and "there has been a marked increase in cyber intrusions originating in China and targeting U.S. government and defense-related computer systems.".

Hell, fucking Clinton sold them our technology back in the 90's.....so I'm really surprised that, considering the trillions we owe them, the Commies haven't just said, "pay up or give up your secrets".

We built China. We started making deals with them in the early 1970's. David Rockefeller when he was running Chase Manhattan was opening relations with them even before Nixon went. So there was banking/business thing going before the political thing started. If you read Mr. Rockefeller's memoirs he makes it clear that national sovereignty is outdated and that multinational banks and corporations will replace national republics. I think these guys just saw the Chinese are hard worker bees and work cheap so deals were made. Possibly China became the frankenstiens's monster they can't control. I think a lot of things are at play.

All I know was I was taking international business classes at the University of Washington and hearing how China would provide our corporations a billion new consumers. I knew better because of my experience in Hong Kong. I knew damn well China was going to be selling to us and not the other way around and our jobs would be leaving and not just the manufacturing line jobs.

As far as this debt goes, it's a shell game. All the money is issued on a computer. Printed from nothing if you will. It costs the central banks nothing to issue it but they can buy up real resources with it. China prints its money from nothing so if we give them land and resources to pay the debt, we are dumb as shit.

It's going to boil down to who can damage the other the worst and then blackmail for concessions. Who can fuck up the other the worst is the winner. Right now it's a cyber and economic war. I still think we went into the middle east to try and cut off China's oil imports.
