I'm often surprised by how many Americans are against free trade as it's always assumed that you are all very into the whole capitalism thing.

NAFTA never benefitted anyone. Is Mexico better off? No. Is the USA better off? No. Is Canada better off? Nope. It only benefits big companies like GE who built old fashioned coal burning power plants on the Mexican border while Obama shuts our less polluting plants down and we are forced to pay more money to import electricity from Mexico. Put that in your green pipe and smoke it.

Free trade isn't losing jobs to China because they keep their currency purposely devalued.

Corporations joined with government is fascism and not capitalism which is based on a free market. We have become fascist and that is what we are pissed about. You know the banks and corporations using our military to fight their wars in the middle east using a huge tragedy to do so.

Everyone is a racist these days so why not embrace it? Everyone hates somebody. The gays are claiming they are being discriminated against and point to the civil rights movement as a reason they need equality. Ok. So now you don't even need to be a race anymore and so if I'm going to discriminate against anyone I hate people who take too fucking long to play a hole at the golf course. I'm tired of waiting for your dumb ass to get moving.

To be honest....I do think the US is starting to wake up. A little revolution is a good thing.

Not just in the US all over the place I think the younger you are the less racist you are.

I was listening to some American students recently who were mixtures of all sorts and they had a great attitude. How could they not? Once you have a 4 grandparents from 4 different continents how can you possibly be drawn into the pathetic bullshit of race. The race thing is a human construct like religion and the sooner everyone gets themselves over it the better.

To be honest. I think we would be so past the whole race issue if it wasn't for politicians. The politicians stir it up because they want to make one group feel guilty in order to make another group or the government pay up or they want a scape goat to blame something on. The worst nightmare for Al Sharpton is no racism. The man has built his whole empire and living on it.
