As shocking as this story is FORD, the overuse of the words 'fascism', 'Nazi', 'Hitler', and 'socialism' in poltical discourse in America is staggering.

Not to mention "Repukes" and all the other derogatory names that get bandied about. It's a small point, but symptomatic of a larger problem with political discourse in this country.

That in and of itself is the crux of the issue, the general idea that the concept of political discourse no longer exists in this country. By and large, it has been replaced by rhetoric, a non-ending series of harangues that instead of offering solutions, work to foment blame. In effect, it is merely a bunch of self-preservationist tail-chasing, where both pundits and politicians alike react to events instead of instigating them, too scared of their own collective shadows to have the gonads to take a stand. Year after year, our state assemblies fail to act on issues that effect the majority of their constituents, but always seem to have plenty of time to get involved in "important" matters such as major league sports. In the meantime, roads go unpaved, the bridges continue to crumble, the country's infrastructure decays a bit more each day, and citizens continue to face hardships that a few hours of focus and honest work by their duly elected officials could alleviate.

What I'm getting at, is it sucks and is a situation that more than likely will never be fixed. And voting the bastards out is merely an expedient solution, as over time, the newly elected become the elder elected as the entire miserable process does not begin anew, but simply mutates and continues onward blindly.

Fortunately, the Mayan calendar gives up the ghost next year, so perhaps this mess will rectify itself fairly soon.

Fascism=when corporations and government merge into one entity.

Socialism=Where taxes are collected and most services are ran and provided by the government.

Communism=The government owns everything and runs everything.

It's funny I googled a local college to see if there was a course on an introduction to basic political theory or similar for you so we don't have to read this nonsense every day and came across the Central Wyoming Community College.

The only political class on offer is on the 'Homeland Security' course called 'Politics and Terrorism' and as part of it you can take 'Firearms Training'
