Indonesia is a Muslim country. Barry probably had a tough childhood. Could you imagine having a mom like that who moved you around all the time and not a very stable father situation? I mean you are going to be looking for stability as a kid and when a lot of your friends have a hub they are anchored to you may want that for yourself. I can see where he was attracted to Islam and in the same situation we probably would have done the same thing.

One of the best neighbors I ever had was a Muslim. When I lived in New York the Muslims there were very nice to me. My personal experience with Muslims has been pretty positive but then of course these people were moderate ones. I think fundamentalism in any religion has it's dangers. I grew up in a Christian religion that pretty much viewed itself and the only true church and it's mission was to fill the earth. I hate that shit with a passion.
