Toothpaste & regular brushing prevents unwanted tooth decay, gum disease, and tooth loss. These things can cause a great strain on society if I have not the means to pay for them myself. It is much cheaper to prevent then in the first place. And at $10 a month, that's $480 during my college career. THAT'S ALMOST A MONTH OF PART TIME WORK! I CAN'T AFFORD THAT! IT MUST BE COVERED AT 100%.

YOU'RE not PAYING for it! INSURANCE is! Only dummies on the right only made a fake issue out of it when religious institutions (that enjoy a tax-free status) were mandated to provide the same options as every other employer must.
