Since we have a congress that can't even pass a simple budget. Amending the constitution is far beyond the current batch of bozos and I'm not so sure I even want them going there.
ha, i agree with you there. this congress (both sides) should leave the constitution alone. perhaps a more responsible congress some day could take a look.

If anything, the Supreme Court should step in more than it has. But then they are busy and it's a slow process. The congress and the president are getting a bit wild here. Most the things I didn't like in the deffense appropriations bill were sponsored by McCain but then Obama signs it into law. Go figure. At that point I just said it doesn't fucking matter who won. LOL! Without some campaign reform it's pretty much a lost cause. The big money is just going to keep buying off the politicians and getting their way.

The real irony here, of course, is the fact that Mitt's father actually ran for President in the 60s. He didn't make it through the primaries, but I doubt his birthplace, or even his Mormon religion, had anything to do with it.
It's depressing that apart from a few exceptions even in the 21st century both of our countries have a ruling class.

        Meritocracy my cockhole.

I'll admit that I try to ignore anything coming from the extreme wing of any of the parties and didn't know some were questioning Mitt Romney's citizenship. Mitt was born in Detroit, Mi. Last time I checked, that city/state is still a part of the United States, baby...
