Yeah, I get you, and that is a problem all these corrupt doctors. But I have friends and in many cases, the meds DO help. Trust me.

And i don't know what's it like in USA, but I can compare Croatia and Sweden. Here, even though everybody is on something they are still more careful about giving out meds then in Croatia.
Croatia is basicly a third world country, no way any of those doctors are corrupted, yet they gave my old grandmother benzo for her stomach pains.

It would not happend here. And I assume (since USA isn't a third world country) that you are more compareble to us then Croatia.

Maybe all of Sweden should be on Vitamin D? Or if that isn't enough, 5-HTP.

(Those would be anti-depressants that actually work, and don't make you either suicidal or homicidal)

Everyone should be taking Cod Liver oil, which alleviates depression and is scientifically proven to be great for many things--not least of which because it's rich in Vitamin D and relieves the seasonal problems people can experience because of lack of sunlight as well as bone and muscle problems resulting from low level calcium deficiencies. That and the Omega3 fatty acids are great for your heart, joints, etc...

I agree that things like depression drugs are over-prescribed without people just using supplements and good nutrition first. I also think there are many problems with Big Pharma and their profit first motive that relies heavily on redundant advertizing for erectile drugs rather than R&D. But, the drug companies have also done some great things and have eliminated the need for surguries for many and are keeping people alive longer and healthier. So just blaming them essentially because mentally ill people happened to have been on their drugs (for a reason) and then got access to a firearm is pretty fucking silly...
