ah, come on guys...what was so brillant about "Desert Storm"? He send a shitload of B-52's, PGM's and Daisy Cutters on old school tanks dug in the sand. and at the end of the day Saddam Hussein was still sitting on his ass in Bagdad, while the oil fields were burning.

Impressive Man: Compassionate, Fierce, Open, Disciplined in his beliefs. Thank you for your Service. RIP

What I find impressive is neither his politics nor his acknowledged weakness in his own confusion, but his approach to warfare.

An engineer in his head and fierceness in his heart, lol and the ability to fill his own belly with his laughter.

My condolences to his friends and family.

    Peace.

I don't see what anyone has to bitch about. If you don't understand that, you must be stupid.
This is what your problem is.

You are the type that will allow Americans to be killed, a do nothing and wait type like Jane Fonda, you want to pull the covers over your head and act like nothing is wrong. Then when someone ( republican) makes a move and does something about it, you call them murderers and pigs, criminals.

Your a discusting human being, I wish you would just leave.

I think there's a big difference between someone like Dick Cheney, and someone like Schwarzkopf, hence why Kristy is very much in the wrong here.

Many may not remember now since it's been 20 years, but both Schwarzkopf and Powell were being strongly considered for promotion to 5-star General during the 1st Gulf War....

Met Stormin' Norman in the Pentagon after the end of the "war", much like the majority of Flag Officers I met during my 20 years, was very cool....

    He served his country well.

He was a great military leader, and was respected by everyone below him.

Anyone that would bad mouth him for following any order is a piece of shit in my book, and should take a warm bath with a razor blade so the gene pool can be rid of your Jane Fonda wanna be ass. What's next for ya ? Maybe heckling some dead soldiers family at his funeral? Your all discusting people.
    Fuck off.

One would hope that those who have seen war up close and personal would hate it, much like Generals Smedley Butler and Dwight Eisenhower did. Not sure whether that was true or not with Schwarzkopf.

There's quite a few on the Army who are kind of similar in just "Following Orders". I believe Sarge himself is either Independent or at the very least Anti-GOP, yet he did serve during the Iraq war.

    Pretty much this.

I don't blame the guy for following orders, it's not his fault his Commander in Chief was starting a dumbass war.
