I still have 3 large and detailed land maps, now rolled up in tubes, that I purchased from a travel company after, the attack by Saddam on Kuwait.

I knew we were going to move against him. Saddams sword rattling was going to get him the attention he had been asking for.

I followed that war on these maps, one of the middle east, one of Iraq and one of the Persian Gulf countries.

I followed Schwartzkopfs briefings every day while he updated us all live from the battlefield .

The combination of Bush Sr. and Schwartzkopf.....and what Regan provided our military with in the 1980s... was a combination of men who weren't to be trivialized like they had been by the press and the US population of the 1960s mentality.

Schwarzkopf leadership qualities and strategy was a defining moment in the US Military.

I know he will be eaten alive in this forum and tied to all kinds of BCE top secret intel that somehow Nick and his followers have secret knowlege about.

    To:

    General Schwartzkopf.

I say Thank You from all of America and Rest In Peace.

Powell was more of a token Don't get started in him. Anyone who goes before the U.N. and lied like he did costing thousands of innocent Iraqi lives deserves no place in U.S. military history

It probably applies MORE to Powell than it does to Schwarzkopf.

Stormin Norman merely followed orders like any good soldier (regardless of how I feel about the orders, and in the case of invading Iraq, I didn't like them)

Powell, on the other hand, KNOWINGLY lied to the UN in order to build the fraudulent case for the second invasion of Iraq.
