The banks bought the government. Obama is just another Goldman Sachs employee. The Democrat and Republican parties serve the financial institutions. Since the country is divided on certain issues, you need two bought off parties selling different rhetoric to take things over. You need a chimp and a Obummer.

The people who marketed Obama's image knew exactly what they were doing. The image was everything the left wanted and he was virtually impossible for the right wing to attack. Perfect. Sadly the people who back Obama could care less about any real liberal causes like individual freedom and self-expression. They are about looting, robbing, and putting you under their thumb.

People are finding out that healthcare plan they ran through neither protects the patient or is affordable. Especially nice when you lose your full time job with benefits and get replaced by two temps.

I was holding out for a Gore re-election campaign until November 2007, when he finally said "No" for real. Then I was supporting Dennis Kucinich after that, until he got primaried out. And then John Edwards for a week or so after that until he quit. When it came down to Barry vs Hillary, well... Hillary SEEMED like the more right wing of the two.

Whether you voted for Obama or you voted third party, you must admit that we could have seen a drastically different Inauguration speech this last Monday had a Mitt Romney been elected. While it is still just a speech, here are some highlights. Sam responds to the President's strong rhetorical defense of the social safety net and his aggressive approach on Gay rights and climate change and how the country will be better if Obama actually lives up to his rhetoric...

You just have to realize the major parties are corrupt to the point you will never get a good presidential candidate out of them. If you aren't willing to do the bidding of the big boys, they will politically ruin any chances of you winning. It will only be fixed at the grass roots level of enough citizens supporting a candidate that isn't in the big machine. In other words, Joe Public needs to dump the Republican and Democrat parties.

It was pointed out to me by someone in Singapore that the term liberal is something different in the US. He said a liberal in Singapore is a non-conformist. I got to thinking about it and that is what liberals used to be. They were against the traditional top down systems and believed in giving individuals the freedom to chase their dreams. You could say some of our founding fathers were actually liberals. They wanted to avoid the old theocracies and monarchies and let individuals chase their passions. Frankly, that is why the US became a superpower. Why it is failing now is we lost that vision. Even the communist Chinese knew they had to loosen up or they would go nowhere.

All our government does now is sell fear porn and then use it to take more rights and freedoms away. Even if it's a real problem they spin it to empower a few people in charge instead of actually helping the masses. This is the problem.

For a while I was actually liking Hillary. But over the last 1 - 1 1/2 years I have really soured on her. A big part was her flippant attitude with Ghaddafi when she said "we came, we saw, he died...". That type of speak is below us. At least it should be.

In Australia, the "Liberals" are a RIGHT wing party, and the FAUX Noize "Democrats" are trying to do the same thing here. And this shit all started right about the time that Rupert conned Newt Gingrich into fast tracking his citizenship through the system, so he could own media in the US.

When I was in high school there were over 50 media companies in the US. In fact my girlfriend's father owned a television station, a couple radio stations and two newspapers. A lot of the media was locally owned. Now we have around five media conglomerates that own most the media.

Then look at the result. We no longer have news. We have propaganda. Real news is neutral. Facts are carefully checked and then the Who, What, Where, Why, and How are reported. In a newspaper it's in the inverted pyramid format. It wasn't flashy or entertaining. It was news.

Now it's entertainment with all sorts of cleaver marketing and mind control tools used. It's biased. It's inaccurate (look at how much they got wrong with both the Aurora and Sandy Hook shootings), and it purposefully divides the public into separate competing groups.

People blame Obama for dividing the country. Well it's not Obama dividing the country so much as the media itself is. The biggest weapon the so called 1% trying to take everything over have right now is their mediaopoly and if the public is dumb enough to buy into it, then yes, the 1% will get their way. They will win. It's the classic Roman divide and conquer strategy and it works as well today as it did in the days of Caesar.

I think anyone who has spent too much time in the Washington DC establishment gets tainted. I've seen good people even go to the state capitol and get changed for the worse. Something goes on. I think there is a lot of peer pressure with most the peers being tainted. There is blackmail, threats, and bribes. I'm sure it's more nasty than the average person can imagine and in time it beats a good person down and corrupts a corrupt person even more. As the old saying goes, corruption breeds more corruption.

Apparently ol' Rupet and Newt go back a ways. Let's just say they attend the same VIP good ol' boys club meetings time to time. The type of things politicians, Washington insiders, and international industrialists tend to get invited to and of course cooperative media figures are always welcome.
