The only one I can think of was the Delorean and that was done by a drug bust."I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. - Some come from ahead and some come from behind. - But I've bought a big bat. Not true. The Delorean company was already facing financial trouble before the drug issue, and was questioned by the government about it's shaky financing. The company's stocks were stripped of them, leading to Delorean to seek a bail out. This didn't happen, so he turned to an entrapment scheme offered up by the FBI. The charges were later thrown out and he was acquitted. Thing is, the company was still broke, and with little hope of refinancing or a bail out, the company folded.

The reality is as long as politicians fear losing their elections, they can be swayed but people just are too distracted and too uninformed to organize in the numbers to sway politicians. The problem isn't so much what is in Washington DC as it is the people you are around as you go to the store, work, or commute on the freeway with. They will live in a future they have made for themselves and frankly they deserve what they get.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

She is mistaken, or simply too dull-witted to actually study the facts. The company was having issues with creditors before the bust. The FBI, seeing a fish-in-a-barrel opportunity, set the guy up by approaching him. This lead Delorian into the misguided and desperate attempt at racketeering drugs, and he was later exonerated.
