A bunch of fuckwit scientists will probably clone some after finding some good DNA frozen under some pack ice. They will breed like rabbits and dinosaurs will take the world they lost back. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

I don't see nor concern myself with those big corporations as some sort of evil empire. As I said many of those listed are my customers. I deal with real humans that work for these outfits. There's no sinister elements there. I'm neither a consumer nor slave.
Look we all have to earn a living somehow... working for a large multinational corporation isn't slavery unless you choose to feel that way. Yeah these guys control a lot of money... big deal. Yeah, there's occasional corporate bullshit to be dealt with... Bullshit knows no bounds nor is exclusive to any sized business. Thankfully they pay a lot of money for their IT operations... which I benefit from. Without them I may not be able to sit on my boat in the middle of the lake enjoying life... since their existence enables my enjoyment and many, many other's... what's there to fear them?"If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”Comment

I have no problems with corporations as long as they don't become monopolies or get away with not paying taxes or breaking laws because they have bought the politicians off. Really what we need badly is campaign reform. Only individuals should be able to donate to political campaigns not corporations and there should be a fairly low cap on the amount that can be donated. Why the country has gone to seed is the corporations have bought most the politicians and then the corporations regulate themselves and can do whatever the hell they want.
It's dangerous. Monsanto might fuck up our food supply permanently as one example. They are one reason some forward thinking people made a seed bank. So we can plant the original organic food if companies like Monsanto destroy the natural food supply. But Monsanto can do whatever the hell they want because they have bought Washington DC. No we need to put the muzzle on some of these corrupt corporations or we are screwed. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

Yeah. When you join the craft you get your three degrees and then you choose what group you want to be in. In the US we have the Shriners and then you have other groups as well like the Scotish Rite. There's a couple of them you can join. So the masonic order is the main group and the Shriners would be a sub group inside of it.
If anything, you have an organizational node and a structure to operate in. It's no different than the church I grew up in. Sometimes you would be in a group of let's say three guys that knew something the rest of the congregation didn't and the reason for it was to keep things out of the gossip mill or to just get something done behind the congregations back because it was easier to get it done that way.
Most the groups I have been in there are these subsets that do things the rest doesn't know about. It's call compartmentalization and it's just how most things run benevalant or not.Last edited by Nitro Express; 01-31-2013, 02:50 PM.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

No. Not what I meant at all.

Bless your little heart Kristy... You really should spend more time living than worrying about a bunch of big corporate banks and media outfits. Get away from the city... it's polluting your brain.
The lake my ghey little 29' tri-tube pontoon boat is parked on is also our drinking supply. It's ranked in the top 10 cleanest in the nation. So no, I'm not losin sleep over toxins in the water. The trees on my property have 3 times the carbon footprint my home produces... So no, I'm not worried about air quality. We grow a lot of our own vegetables and buy a lot from local organic farmers... Never once gave much concern over GMO foods... Don't plan to. Pretty damn sure the 4 trout I caught & ate last weekend were GMO free they had no bar-codes on em. Same with the deer sausage we ate last night... no corporate logos there."If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”Comment
