The Democratic Party ended when John F. Kennedy died and the Republican Party ended when Eisenhower warned us about the military industrial complex. Something had infiltrated the federal government. Eisenhower warned us and Kennedy tried to do something about it and got killed for trying. Once Lyndon Johnson stepped in the country has never been the same. Both parties had opportunistic egomaniacs being played off of each other with old established and connected money behind them.
Right now the situation is the Republican party is in a state of chaos because the Bush faction lost power when they couldn't get their man Mitt Romeny elected and they have enemies who have pushed them to the side. Now you have the grass roots part fighting the establishment side. You can see it in John McCain's reaction to Rand Paul. Then it's also clear the Republican establishment reluctantly works with Obama.
The Obama Administration pretty much work for George Sorros and Zibignew Brzenski. Pretty much a product of the Rockefeller sponsored University of Chicago liberal talent pool. Chicago has been the long-term base of operations for that kind of ilk.
It's all about using crises fabricated and non-fabricated and the resulting fear and emotion to push an agenda forward. The agenda is less power for the average person and more power for the elite. Of course the elite are in different factions and fight each other over who gets what. Also, the old guard have made enemies in Asia and with the emerging economies there they no longer throw their weight around the world the way they used to. So there is that fight and in the US we have a fight going on regarding keeping our traditional constitutional values or losing them to some hollow socialistic promises. On top of that you have the so called republicans fighting each other while the extreme left are making a mad dash to the endzone but are waking people up to the fact they don't believe in any due process and feel they can kill anyone they wish in the process. In other words, people are seeing the dirt now and are going holy shit!
The left you still believe in died in the early 1960's. The true American left that was replaced with the more socialist oligarch sponsored progressive left that has more of a Rothschilds flavor than Kennedy. It certainly isn't American. The American left was in the early process of taking down the Federal Reserve Bank and getting us out of Vietnam. The progressive left started the Vietnam war and put the Federal Reserve back in control of our money. Obviously it was ran by someone who had full interest in making money off that war and was involved with the Federal Reserve banking system.
