Pat Robertson is a christian zionist. So is John Hagee. They work for the Israeli establishment to convince christians in the US to back Israel. Without these evangelical pitch men Israel would lose political support in the US and lose all the funding we give it. Without US backing Israel will cease to exist. The more politically active christians tend to be zionists working with the labor zionists on the jewish side of things.
The best thing to do is ignore these guys. They lose their power if nobody cares.
When you live in Israel for awhile you learn what goes on in the government there is not what the christians here think it is. It's a very corrupt government that doesn't care about anyone but a few elites. It doesn't even care about the more traditional orthodox jews. It's all politics with an agenda and the only thing religion has to do with anything is it's a population manipulation mechanism. The current president of Israel is in bed with the vatican and is giving them more and more control over Jerusalem. No real jew would ever do that.
Israel's days are numbered. The only way that place is going to survive is to make it like the United States where religion and the state are separate and people have the freedom of religion. Israel pretty much gets pummeled pretty good in the last days bible prophecies. The final battle takes place in the valley of megido. A lot of people there get raped and killed. When all looks lost is when Jesus lands on the Mt. of Olives, saves what's left of the jews and enters Jerusalem's east gate (which is all bricked shut by the way).No!
