Basically everyone here was terrified when Bush got elected.

I think after 2 wars(3 if you include his war on the environment) as well as alienating just about every other country in the world we've actually got off quite lightly. I was expecting armageddon.

If he gets re-elected we might not get off so lightly next time.

Absolutely correct. With a legitimate election, and no worries about another one, the BCE would assume a "full mandate" from the American people (even if they won by 1 vote) to carry out the PNAC agenda and corporate-fascistization of the American government to the extreme.
