I listened to Mush in the early 1990s. Not entirely by choice, but I was driving a delivery van to Aberdeen and back every afternoon, and all it had in it was a shitty AM radio that got a total of two stations. Right wing talk & country.
I chose the lesser of two evils just to stay awake on the road. Mush was full of shit with his anti-Clinton paranoia, but at least it was funny, not hateful.
I blame the oxycontin. I've seen anger and paranoia come from opiate use before, and I'm convinced it's the pills that sent him over the cliff.

Limbaugh is at least a bit charming on his show.
He's good at what he does.
Similar to Howard Stern in some aspects. Their career paths are ironically very similar, just different directions they went in terms of format. Do I agree with him? No, but I can understand his appeal.
