If someone's right to vote is being oppressed, they can't vote for a third party either. But it's not the Greens, the Libertarians, the Justice Party, or even the "Communist Workers Party" who is trying to keep them from voting..
Half of your eligible mortal voters don't bother showing up at all. Then one of your political parties tries to eliminate the voters of the other by any means necessary (legal or not). Throw in the corrupt electro-fraud machines and the Shittizens United corporate hijacking of elections, and you are left with a fucked up process that only favors the most corrupt party.

When I lived in Syracuse, New York around election time they had all these big buses down by the welfare projects that were next to the neighborhood we lived in. We played basketball with one guy that lived there and we asked him what was going on and he said it was election day. They were busing everyone to the polls. He said he heard they even had women and booze available to encourage people to go. That was my first exposure to community organizing.
Also that town was dying. Carrier, Birstol Meyers, and other employers were leaving the state of New York for other states because the taxes and regulations were too high. Also the infrastructure was falling apart. You could tell at one time it was a grand city with a lot of money but it had morphed into a dump.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

Well, actually it's because they know that both parties are too far to the right, and with electro-fraud machines "counting" the votes, it's not likely that their votes for Jill Stein or the guy with the bad rug will count for anything.
As your mortal radio host Mike Malloy is fond of saying, "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty:soap, ballot, jury, ammo, in this order!". Corporate media consolidation has crippled the soap box. Electro-fraud has rendered the ballot box useless. The courts are occupied by BCE appointees, and where the positions are vacant, the teabaggers in Congress are blocking nominations to fill them. And if you think the ammo box is your answer, a drone up your ass will soon change your mind.
