They didn't have paint ball guns when I was a kid. We had Daisy and Crossman BB guns. So you grabbed your dad's safety goggles out of the shop or garage. Put on all the padding you could find (we got creative). Then you went out and shot each other with BB's. The grenades were dirt clods. I think anyone who says they aren't scared in a real combat situation is a liar.

1 home invader dead, 1 wounded in gunfight with Orosi resident
A violent gun battle inside a rural home near Orosi early Tuesday ended with a robbery victim shot multiple times, one suspect dead and a second seriously wounded, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office said.
The exchange of gunfire took place at what appears to be a recently constructed home near a stand of olive trees in the 42400 block of Road 140.
Deputies say four siblings -- ages 22, 18, 11 and 8 -- were in the home just before 6 a.m. when the 22-year-old man heard the sound of someone breaking through a door, then saw a least two people in his home. The man got a handgun out of a safe and confronted the suspects. Deputies say the man and at least one intruder exchanged fire.
The man was hit by multiple rounds, as were two intruders. One suspect died at the scene as the second suspect tried unsuccessfully to pull the first to a getaway vehicle.
The second suspect was driven in a van by two other suspects to Keweah Delta Medical Center. A security camera at the hospital captured the arrival. The sheriff's office did not provide the suspects' gender.

ATLANTA (CBS46) -
A homeowner found someone breaking into his home and he shot and killed him, according to police.
Cobb County police say they were called to a home on the 1800 block of Dorsey Road in Marietta at about 11 p.m. Tuesday. When they got there, the homeowner told officers he'd just shot a man who broke into his home.
Police have identified the deceased man as 30-year-old Michael Verucci of Marietta.
The homeowner also told investigators he saw another suspect leave the scene in a car.
