Walk down any grocery aisle and try to find no trace of oil. Even your "organic food" food stores. You can't do it. Go to a hospital. Same deal.

Though the fact is that most "petroleum based" plastics and chemicals could be made - and in most cases more efficiently and environmentally safer - from natural, renewable sources such as hemp.
Remarkably enough, the technology to do so isn't even all that new. A full century ago, Henry Ford not only wanted to run his cars on hemp based fuels, but wanted to build the car bodies from hemp fiber as well. It's just a damned shame this idea wasn't as embraced like his assembly line manufacturing procedures were.Eternally Under the Authority of Satan

Every person who shall monopolize, or attempt to monopolize, or combine or conspire with any other person or persons, to monopolize any part of the trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations, shall be deemed guilty of a felony.

What does any of this jerksmear pro-predatory corporatism rant have to do with corporate welfare anyway?
It's two entirely different discussions. Because even if you are delusional enough to believe that unregulated monopolistic corporations are somehow "good" for the USA, that still doesn't justify taxpayers being forced to subsidize them.Eternally Under the Authority of Satan

As I said, Henry's assembly line procedures revolutionized the auto industry, and other industries took note and followed. His forward thinking on hemp fuels and fiber (as opposed to rotting dinosaur carcasses) might have done likewise. Now this doesn't mean Henry was any kind of saint. He was almost as big of a fan of Adolf Hitler as the BCE, for example.
Save your bullshit for for Obamacare, go fuck a hippie male or female, and get the fuck off the internet. You just killed a coal mine.

Corporations that are approved by the government and the prices have shot up. It seems to be a racketeering setup more than a monopoly. Corporations colluding with themselves and with the government. If you look at the federal government today it does just the opposite of what it's supposed to do. We don't have a Department of Defense. We have a Department of Offense. We don't have a Justice Department. We have an Injusctice Department. The FDA gives corporations like Monsanto full freedom to put GMO food on the market without the proper testing to make sure it's safe or has any negative affects on the environment. There is a revolving door between contractors and government agencies all across the board. The government is doing a lousy job of protecting us citizens but is doing a gang buster job of protecting corporations and their crooked management. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

You're so fucking dumb, FORD. Really you are.
You're standing up for a commie lib that doesn't know where his money comes from. Without oil TH wouldn't have made a dime.
Green jobs and green energy have been the biggest money pit since socialists usurped the "environment" mantra.
You don't know what your talking about when you try to connect oil and corporate welfare. Oil pays its own way.
And thanks for the stock checks.Last edited by jacksmar; 12-01-2013, 06:58 PM.A NATION OF COWARDS - Jeffrey R. SnyderComment
