You mean, they're picking & choosing so that religion accommodates their needs?
I know that in this particular case, they're doing it for a "noble cause", but it's still wrong.
You either accept something, or you don't. Changing shit around to fit your particular needs is selfish, petty & wrong. Like the brat in recess that keeps bothering you to play, but all the rules have to be changed or he'll cry & tell the teacher you're being mean.
Then he grows up to be a politician & changes laws around to fit his & his mates agendas.
Why would you want to be a part of something you don't agree with, anyway? It's funny, all the gay people wanting to be religious when the figurehead doesn't want them there. It's like the more they turn them down,the more they want in, just to be able to claim they belong.
Cartman was right. If you tell people they can't come in to your amusement park,then they'll do ANYTHING to get in.

I agree with a lot of shit from the bible & christian teachings & what have you & nothing in my lifestyle bars me from belonging to the religion of God. In fact, I'll bet I commit a helluva lot less sins than the vast majority of churchgoers.
But why would I devote my life to a fantasy? I can still be civilized without an irrational superstition scaring me into being so.
