Oh yes. I don't know about you, but I remember Barry being heralded as the Second Coming - or perhaps something even better - quite vividly.

At the time, I just couldn't believe how naive the whole world was being. Everyone actually believed that guy would bring great changes to the world & Earth would become a Paradise under His guidance. HE would guide us back to Eden.
