I just finished calling 911 after finding a young woman laying in the street with a VERY swollen face...definitely an assault victim.

Cops got there first. Told me I could leave. I refused to leave till the ambulance got there, used the excuse that I had thrown my coat over her and wanted her to stay warm till EMS arrived. She was holding my hand the whole time and gave it an extra squeeze when I said I would wait for EMS. How sad that I couldn't trust the police simply because she was First Nations...

There's a shit-storm brewing up here. It's been what I call "a silent revolution", but it's not that silent these days. I've seen some of the plans online, but they are now planning offline as they realize the government is more than likely monitoring their FB posts. Within the next few months you will probably start hearing about various protests, along with road and rail line blockades...
