Pretty much. And watermelon too. That myth about black people loving watermelon is just that - a myth. Everybody down here loves watermelon, except for me. Nasty stuff and stringy. I haven't touched one in 30 + years. In the summer time when we have a big family cook out, everybody gets all excited when it's time to cut the damn watermelon. Not me. My kid hates it too.

Hell, I love watermelon!. Always hated sweet potatoes as a kid though. Oddly enough, now I love sweet potato fries and sweet potato chips. Still don't eat them in the traditional way cooked with the marshmallows on top or whatever. And I've never had sweet potato pie. (Strictly pumpkin at my family's Thanksgiving dinner)
