I think the fear of hotels has to stem from movies, everybody in movies gets jumped in a hotel. Plus motels look dodgy as fuck.

You hit the nail right on the head. Thugs and punks are held up as roll models to the young nowdays. Youngsters have no respect for authority. Motels usually are "dodgy as fuck". The cheap ones anyway. I feel safer sleeping in my car in a Walmart parking lot. Most studies on immigrants found higher rates of crime among these populations; these rates vary according to the country of origin (immigrants from some regions having lower crime rates than the indigenous population).

That's what some people would like us all to believe but I'm not buying it. If you want to get a good idea about who is committing more crimes just watch a few episodes of Cops. Arguing that point with Angel is a waste of time and effort considering the Canadian government openly discourages law enforcement and the press from gathering and or distributing statistics on race and crime. Admitting that certain racial groups tend to commit more crimes than others isn't PC.Beware of DogComment
