Named alongside Trump are John E Kapp and John Marcy (charged with felonious assault in the attack on Patrolman William O'Neill and Sgt. William Lockyear), Fred Lyons, Thomas Caroll, Thomas Erwin, and Harry J Free. They were arraigned in Jamaica, N.Y. All seven were represented by the same lawyers, according to the article.
Point out the portion of this newspaper article where it says this. I've gone back over it a few times and I can't find it anywhere. Either I'm blind or you're seeing stuff that isn't there. Believe it or not, we are capable of reading here.

Daddy Trump was "discharged" but he was still very much a participant in the Klan rally, including wearing a sheet. Since there were 1,000 cross burning Klan fucksticks present, but only 7 of them arrested, this was not a case of mass arrest just because cops didn't like the Klan. So the logical conclusion is that Daddy Trump, along with the 6 others arrested must have been involved in the assault on the officers, though they could only make the charges stick against two of the cross burning Klan fucksticks.Beware of DogComment

And I bet you've got the same amount of proof of this you have of Fred Trump being a member of the KKK. None.Beware of DogComment

You have to admit that if Papa Trump was just an innocent bystander caught up by accident in the incident it would be a strange decision for him to use the Klan lawyer to plead his case.
It's still just a little bit of trivia, what about the stories of Donald having racist policies towards casino staff in the 80s. Or harrassing people out of their apartments in the 1970s/80s using people with mob connections. Or constantly using campaign contributions to buy favors with politicians to then get big state subsidies on his buildings and on and on it goes.Comment

Apparently you need new glasses then. The highlighted portion at the bottom of the second column refers to the arraignment and the fact that all 7 of these KKK fucksticks were represented by the same lawyers. The third column says what the charges were, and mentions the name of those arrested, and what the charges were. Daddy Trump was "discharged" but he was still very much a participant in the Klan rally, including wearing a sheet. Since there were 1,000 cross burning Klan fucksticks present, but only 7 of them arrested, this was not a case of mass arrest just because cops didn't like the Klan. Sure you can make the assumption that if he was discharged he must have been arrested, but it's just that, an assumption. I don't see anywhere in the article where it says in print that he was arrested. Assumptions and speculation are not the same thing as facts. Before you say I'm some Trump fan, I think the guy is a full of hot air idiot that's in love with himself. I've never seen him as a serious candidate and I'm certain he'll fade from the Rep field soon enough.Last edited by Little Texan; 09-30-2015, 08:23 PM.Comment

Maybe the lawyer offered him his services at a reduced rate since he was already defending the other six people. The real point is this. It only mentions that Fred Trump was discharged which makes it logical he was arrested but it doesn't say why he was arrested or why he was discharged which I assume means he wasn't being prosecuted. Nowhere does it say Fred Trump was a member of the klan, wearing a robe, burning crosses or fighting with the police.Beware of DogComment
