My post had nothing to do with the United States involvement in World War 2. Neville Chamberlain signed a pact with Hitler allowing Germany to annex part of Czechoslovakia because he believed Hitler would be satisfied with that but obviously that wasn't the case. The head Trumpaphobe here doesn't believe ISIS is a threat yet he's scared shitless of Donald Trump.
BTW. Even though we didn't enter WWII until Japan attacked us at Pearl Harbor we had been assisting the allies for about a year even though the general public here was against it.

Do you learn your history from the back of cereal packets? Britain was in no fit state at all to fight a war in 1938. After signing the agreement with Hitler the first thing Britain did was start a massive military armament for a possible war. Peace was a long shot but the main thing was to buy some time.
