Why the 4 door?

When I took my daughter and her best friend to the mountains for vacation last spring we rented one. And I really like the proportions of the 4 door better. The only problem is the damn things are so expensive. I mean, there ain't shit to them, just stamped steel bodies and doors and the interiors are nothing really. But the prices are so damn high and they hold their value. So, again, I'd have to flip a lot of cars to be able to afford one for a third vehicle just to have for fun.

There is a guy on one of the Jeep forums who makes custom hard tops, hoods, and fenders. I would like to fab up a front end similar to some of the concept Jeeps they've put out the last few years. Maybe weld the back doors shut and swap out the front seats for some of the front fold and tumbles out of a 2 door. Kind of like a version of the old full size two door Cherokee, but the inside would all be current 4 door Wrangler.

I already have a full size Jeep pickup so I don't really need one of the new ones. I have an extra Grand Wagoneer frame, I could always make my own TJ Wrangler truck out of it and a salvaged tub.

Dear Army

As an adult male of a certain age living in a modern society I have many friends of different colour and religion to my own. This is not a point to be applauded its just a fact.
Peoples race colour religion isnt a factor in whether someone is likeable its their personality in my opinion.
To that end I am the least racist person you could meet and am sure this will up set people but in the real world I am very tolerant of others.

Now this is not a reply to izzy and sesh dooking it out on chat its more a thought i had over our trump discussions.

On the army people have personna's or shtick or whatever you want to call it and people try to stick to that.

I think its fair to say that the people I interact with most on here are izzy and donnie , so as a chilled out person how do i interact with their madness.
Its simple I may be being hugely naive here but I think that they post to provoke a reaction , certainly to be funny and to entertain and occasionally they go over the line , sometimes there is no line.
At time they have even shocked myself but knowing thats what they want I dont react and go play in the real world.

If I thought that the army reflected anything at all serious I would never log on.
If I thought that the two crazy horses were at all serious I would hold no truck with them.

In the real world the casual racism sexism and general opinions held on here in the real world would be not tolerated ..... try using rapey in your next real world converation :D

I just assumed from the beginning with Izzy and Donnie that there wasn't an ounce of contrived web group persona role playing in any of their posts.
