You're right, with one small exception: once it's legal, the terminally wasted and future addicts will get their drugs for free. Kinda like their Ubama Phones. See, we'll all have to stay off duh drugs so we can work to pay even more taxes so fucking idiots can sit home every day stoned to the bejeezus belt. And the democrats know this and understand that these current and future fuck ups will have to vote democrat to keep they free drugs flowing. You know, kinda like how the poor people who live in major cities that have been run by democrats for decades keep on voting democrat. Cause dat's how they get they food stamps and free rent and everything else.
You do realize food stamps are being gutted by the Rethuglicons?Comment

220 million in tax revenue on what? I'm not talking about weed, I'm talking about hard drugs, heroin, cocaine, chrystal meth and thousand of other controlled substances. Some with and some without medical uses. Just because rock stars like your dad Jimmy Page could afford the hard stuff and somehow function enough to make a nice living making music doesn't mean everyone can.Beware of DogComment

From there, Jimmy's sorry state was the main reason his attempted collaboration with Squire & White from Yes didn't work out. Plant never even showed up for the sessions.... that's how brief it was. (Upside to that for the Yes fans.... the failure of XYZ led them to their next project "Cinema" with guitarist Trevor Rabin, which evolved into the 80s version of Yes, once Jon Anderson heard the music they were making and he wanted back in)
Page's next project, The Firm was also a short lived clusterfuck. But at least they managed to get two records out of it. Presumably that was the point where Jimmy realized he had been riding the wrong "horse".Eternally Under the Authority of Satan

Actually, her dad didn't function all that well on heroin at all. Jimmy's junkie years led to some of Zeppelin's sloppiest concerts, really impacted the quality of their last two records, and probably would have led to the band's demise, had Bonzo's death not given them the easy excuse.

If you're calling for the legalization of drugs you are calling for the wholesale distribution of them. Legal means anyone can have them does it not? Even if you throw in a minimum age stipulation but that won't stop underage people from taking them any more than laws restricting underage drinking stop people from drinking.Beware of DogComment
