Curious how the split remains 52/48 even as all those areas on the map gradually turn blue......
I've never been to the UK, so I'm not completely familiar with the geography. But it seems like the yellow areas on the Guardian map (aside from Scotland) are all the cities I've ever heard of, with the biggest yellow patch being the greater London area.
So does this simply come down to the city/rural split - like a lot of US elections do?
