Still haven't been to the Five Guys on the west end of town yet. It's been here a couple years now but I keep forgetting to go there when I'm in that area. I've heard mixed reviews, but I'm sure I'll get in there eventually. Even though the traffic conditions and parking around there generally suck ass.

Some people love Five Guys. I think it's ok but don't see what the big deal is. I think my all time favorite place for a burger was Nasty Norah's in Eugene, Oregon. She was like this take no shit tough blue collar cafe owner and she had what was called the Brahma Bull burger. I don't know where she got the buns but the burger was as big as a small dinner plate. It was probably ten inches across. She had an autographed picture of John Belushi on the wall. He ate there when they were filming Animal House. But you would have like truck drivers and loggers in there telling lies and Norah would be telling them they were all full of shit. Ha! ha! You almost went to enjoy the insults.

There used to be a place by the beach when I was a little dude that sold griddle dogs. Fried hot dogs with cheese on a hamburger bun. I'll bet the Beach Boys ate there quite often. It was called Hamburger Hamlet.

What beach? I spent my summers in Newport Beach and they had little places that would send out their own fishing boats and you could get fresh fish. Always had good fish and chips.

He hasn't been in office long enough to prove he is. A fascist is Hitler or Mussolini. I mean if you start to see people disappear and heavy handed police activity then you might have some concern. It looked like a hard fought presidential campaign to me. I see it as partisan politics. If Ted Cruz would have won they would be calling him the same names. The I-5 corridor is pretty much controlled by the Democrat Party so they are going to vote whoever is riding the donkey that election. You could run a scarecrow on the Democratic ticket in California now for governor and it would get elected.

Ted Cruz was a theocratic dominionist "Christian shariah law" type of fascist, so that's different from Cheeto who seems to be a Mussolini-Hitler hybrid. Though Pence is certainly closer to the Cruz model - except he's Opus Dei Catholic rather than 7 Mountains Protestant. (ironic that the Cuban isn't the Catholic, but whatever.....)
