Before the malignant DLC cancer took over the "Democratic" party....

1) Democrats controlled congress for 40 years. Since the malignancy took over they controlled it (theoretically) only between 2006 and 2010 - and because of Jellyfish Pelosi, spineless Harry and Rahm "Fucking Retard" Emanuel's blue balled coward brigade - they accomplished NOTHING during that time, except for passing a health insurance bill first advocated by Richard Nixon and first implemented by Willard Mittens Romney

2) In 1995, we still had somewhat of a functional media in this country (though somewhat crippled by Reagan/BCE killing the Fairness Act). DLC malignancy Bill Clinton signed the so-called "Telecommunications Reform Act" of 1996, and this opened the door to the extremist right wing corporate media of Rupert Murdoch, Scumcast, and Clear Channel Radio - literally founded with BCE money and eventually sold to Willard Mittens Romney's Bain Capital

3) in 1999 we still had a functional banking industry, with thousands of local and regional banks doing well, and completely insulated from the predators of Wall Street speculators. Until DLC malignancy Bill Clinton repealed Glass Steagal.

4) Howard Dean is the only DEMOCRAT to chair the Democratic party in the last 30 years. NOT COINCIDENTALLY he also the only one who was able to take back Congress (at least in theory) and to get a theft proof margin for a "Democratic" presidential candidate in 2008.

The evidence speaks for itself. The "Democratic" party is now a 4th stage cancer patient and radical treatment was required to save its life.
