Yeah well, too bad. He chose a public life as a political, connected, and well paid judge feasting on the "conservative-credential" cottage industry of social promotion. Yes, he was young, but he hung around some dubious, admittedly rapy assholes now being cast as victim-martyrs" as a "cancer-survivor/alcoholic/substance abuser" resulting from his own choices - boofuckinghooo!!!
What about the Ford? What about the other women? I have a family member that was traumatized by someone with power and social standing, probably in much the same way she was - not full rape or sexual assault but enough to instill a lifelong scar.

I think the real issue with all of this is his reaction to the accusation and the fact that he has been fibbing all the time.

This sentence is the key reason why middle-of-the-road independent suburban women are running away in droves. Just saying. The presumption that upper middle class white guys can act like assholes, then go onto being absolved as "choirboys" is a bit maddening to some.
You throw all this shit onto Ford, but ignore that Kavanaugh is a lying cunt in the best circumstances. She is the reluctant accuser and college professor and he's the supposed poised leader, and yet she looked very credible and he looked like a pissy little cunt that had his toys stolen in the testimony. Several of his Yale classmates have come out to call out his bullshit "I just drank a few beers here and there" bullshit lie every alcoholic ever spouts in the battle to absolve themselves of responsibilities and sin. Several have stated that he was often a blackout drunk and a belligerent cunt before napping...
I think I forgot Kavanaugh was supposed to be just anointed without question, but the only thing is, people are denied security clearances and gov't employment everyday for accusations far less than his...Comment

My doubt is based on the vast information available and my personal assessment/opinion of what I've read and observed...
Seems clear to me, the guy wasn't one of the cool kids of the 80's. Pretty much a typical nerd/jock type with no street smarts, who went to private schools and went on to college and law school and was smart enough to land jobs in the top end of the federal judicial world.

Dr Ford does seem quite credible based on her public testimony. I even sincerely believe her story about how this repressed memory of the assault surfaced during couples counseling... when her and her husband needed help sorting out a major disagreement on whether they should add a second front entryway/door onto their home... Most of us can totally relate to the crazy notions that come up in a home remodeling project!!
Not so sure about his reactions to this... Seems fairly reasonable that most people would get frustrated and express anger while dealing with this circus directly.
