I find BigBadBrian's post very disturbing....
An example here is my girlfriend is a provincial government employee.
She is a Highway patrol officer.
She wanted to bid on a Court officer job in the same city as me.
The job posting stated all the requirements...then went on to say that "this job is designated for aboriginal applicants"...so in other words...regardless of qualifications or seniority....if you are an indian the job is yours.
She did not get the job...the union said that there was no discrimination case that she could grieve the posting over.
I do not like this trend our countries are taking.
Reverse discrimination causes more trouble IMO....Comment
