I disagree... I'm old enough to remember the state of things from Nixon's mess. In the end the basic tenants of the constitution and law prevailed. Both sides took to the high roads and the crooks stepped out of the leadership ranks.

I'm not seeing that prospect emerging from the current mess...

Your average person is who decides US elections not the super passionate that go to political rallies, who the fuck even does that?

In the case of the last election during a pandemic it was young people at Bernies who were far less at risk and people with a limited grasp on reality who were at Trumps.
