Bill Maher has become objectively unwatchable.
He has always been unusual in that most comics try to be likeable and he has always had some weird ideas about food and health but recently he now has gone out there to the level of endorsing the brain worm Kennedy and constantly going off on any anti Israel student protest as though it 100% of them saying the most stupid thing one of them said once like the old reactionary fuck in the bar.
This new show where he sits drinking and smoking loudly talking total shit just confirms your worst fears about him being a total dick. I've sat through a quite few and it is car crash stuff to the extent the cringe got so bad I've never managed a whole one. Closest I got was the Bill Burr one where he just didn't take his garbage. It's worse than watching him flirt with Anne Coulter,. You would think the fact that you don't have his dumbfuck studio audience sycophantically laughing or applauding him at the wrong time and would help but it doesn't.
If Maher was half as smart as he thinks he is he would be 4 times as smart as he is. He certainly isn't smart enough to manage to drink booze and debate on a show. His stand up without his team of writers is shit yet he didn't support their strike. How much money does he need?
