Howard Dean and John McCain appear to have a good deal in common. Both are centrist candidates fed up with the corporatists who have taken over their parties. Both have experienced severe character assassinations at the hands of their own party establishment. And both were far better choices than the corporatist puppets selected by their respective party bosses.
Third party tickets as a rule seem to favor the incumbent, but I believe this matchup could be the exception, drawing votes from the entire political spectrum.
