Ok well I have a problem here and I need help. I listened to W.A.S.P.'s "Blind in Texas" (Lame I know but I dig the tone on the lead guitar) and I love the intro solo to the song. I know it's a simple pentatonic but I wonder where the sound comes from. Would those be pinch harmonics or is it the tone the guitarist has? If you know the tone, please tell me what it is. Thanks y'all.

ah hair band tones... Wasp especially... Line 6. Dial in on the insane channel, a little flanger, high drive, low channel volume, high bass, low mids, high treble.
you could add an external metal drive pedal to that as well. It sounds like a lot, but I always figured Id rather have it, for when I need it, and turn them off for when I dont. 9/10, I use the "crunch" channel and an MT Metal pedal."FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKIN' BITCH! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ANYWAYS? TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? FUCK YOU. DRAG QUEEN LOOKIN' WHORE- YOU AINT SHIT. YOUR THE FRECKLE TO THE LEFT OF MY BROWN EYE. NOW GO MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL...OH, PUT DAD ON THE PHONE" -

Sweet thanks for the help. I was thinking it had something to do with channel and flanger. Hell I'll throw a little phaser in there to get my own sound also. Thanks again dude!Comment
