Anyone got any good ideas, that work for them ???? Ive tried motho and a couple of others but the ring finger is always a pain in the ass. Im not someone who puts the instrument down much either so hrs spent building them up isnt the issue (i dont think)
Play more than you normally do, and spend more time on the acoustic.
One reason you may be tearing up your ring finger callous could be the result of having your string action set too low. Raise it a bit and you should find it easier to bend notes with less stress on the callous'.

I also recommend keeping a tube of crazy glue in your gtr case incase you blow out a callous during a gig. (It saved my bacon once)
