    Watch out though...

    You can't really mix an HS3 with many other pickups in the same guitar as the output in millivoltts is only 93 compared to some humbuckers which can be well over 400...

        When I had mine, I put it in a Charvel STeve Vai Green Meanie I built. Dimarzio told me it how to wire, and I had to use one of their MegaSwitches. I wanted to wire it like the Jems with the coil tapping of everything. Sounded great like that. I sadly sold that guitar a while ago, wish i still had it. one of the best guitars tone wise and playing wise I ever had.

                Yeah...though I had it in the neck position of my grey strat with a Duncan Distortion in the bridge slot back in the day...sounded pretty cool...
