MIA P-Bass & MIM J-Bass. The P-Bass is one of the 08 revamped series, absolutley killer

Which one do you play most? Do you dig the Jazz bass' stock sound and tone?

I play the P-Bass mainly, it suits me perfectly & has a great sound, it's so easy to play. I do dig the J-Bass's stock sound, I think once I've changed the strings to a set I prefer I might start playing it more...

I have 2 MIM Jazz basses. One just like yours in the photo, but I painted the pickguard black. They play well, but didn't bump enough and sounded thin. So I added a Badass II bridge and now they sound much better. Both guitarists in my cover band play humbuckers so the Jazz fills the sound nicely.

Well, it was supposed to be Ferrari Red, but it came out more like Tomato Soup orange, hence the name.

Yeah, got it set up last year and it plays great now... just before the band broke up so it's barely been used since.

I'm working on that now, though...
