I bought a guitar last week

A used Jackson Dinky in perfect condition for 400 pounds(Uk Money). I am so happy with it. It plays beautifully and sounds great.

It has a flame paint Job, a Decent Floydd Rose Licensed Trem(Unlike the Ibanez Locking trem which I don't get along with).

The pickups in it are Pretty decent as well. They are Duncan designed. It has a Humbuker in the Bridge and 2 single coils, one in the middle and one inthe neck position.

I am going to change the Neck pickup in it to somethign with a bit more Power, probably a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail. The neck pickup in it is ok but it is "Quiet" compared to the bridge pickup.

All in all it is a very good guitar for the price I paid for it.

Way better than most of the midrange priced Ibanez guitars out there(See my thread about my next guitar purchase for more info).

why is it called a dinky? because the body is smaller than a strat?

                      Dinky because it's a soloist without a neck-through.

                      Go Jackson! Nice choice.

I'm not so into that paintjob, but I bet it plays like butter.

It really is smooth playing. It has Jumbo Frets which I really like ALOT. For whatever reason alot of "Great" guitar players, Eddie Van Halen, SRV, Yngwie, Paul Gilbert all have Jumbo frets on their guitars.

The PGM 301 I am getting soon plays even nicer than the Jackson.

The neck on the PGM is very wide and then the neck is pretty thin. It is whole different vibe to most other guitars out there.

I have an S series Ibanez with the Wizard II neck and the jumbo frets, it is really nice.
