Actually, though, I've said it time and again...Yngwie has his fans and he has his detractors...and that's all good...those who know, know and those who don't get it probably never will. To the uninitiated who haven't really listened to Yngwie's material in depth, he'll probably always be dismissed out of hand as all flash and no substance. Pretty much the same way any other "Hot-Ass Guitarist" has similarly been dismissed out of hand as all flash and no substance by the uninitiated. Hell, even Eddie had his detractors back in HIS heyday by those who "Really Knew Guitar Music". They said the same things about Eddie back then (and still do) that the new generation has said about Yngwie. And still do.
