    Yngwie Malmsteen with the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra

    What do you guys think of Malmsteen playing with this orchestra?



    It's kind of interesting but I don't think I could listen to much of it at once.

          I didnt like it when steve vai kinda did it on his last tour and i easpecially dont like yngwie's attempt. It almost sounds like he doesnt add anything to the orchestra.

          its amazing how shred guitar has never left japan. It kinda disapeared with the times in most countries (apart from the loyal fans) but in japan they still go crazy for paul gibert , george lynch and yngwie

                  Saw the entire concerto a while back...
                  The fucker is incredible, but the self adulation emanating from him makes it hard to fathom that there was actually room for his head in the hall...

                  I suppose I'd be a bit cocky as well, but I think I'd avoid the gay facial expressionism.... hard not to shake your head in disbelief while watching him play though....
