For your consideration an extremely unique & rare guitar. This was built as a 1954 Reissue Goldtop but with only one p-90 pickup and it weighs in under 8 pounds! It is not a Junior. Seven pounds 14.5 ounces to be exact. Maple top and mahogony back. Mint with original Historic case, made in 2005.
It was 1 of 2 ordered with request for a light back, 60's slimmer neck, & only one pickup, from the custom shop in Nashville. Special ordered by a very very special guitar player back when Gibson would still take special orders. I have complete documentation for the winning bidder. No I will not disclose who ordered the guitar to anyone but the winning bidder, I am selling this based on what it is and not for who owned it. Although, I do have all documentation for its history which may be worth more than the guitar itself. Please don't ask who, If you ask, I will ignore the question along with all reserve questions. This auction is for a very unique and light Les Paul, the rest is just gravy for the winning bidder.
Worldwide shipping available for additional fees. Don't miss this opportunity.
Check my other auctions as I am listing some VERY special items this week.

This Is NOT part of a run of guitars you may have seen at some guitar store a few years back. They did make a similar guitar which had a 50's style neck and was basically a 54 goldtop or flame top with one pick up. This is not one of those. This guitar has a special order neck, weight, & sku. I think the knob positioning was different also. Those had the volume and tone in the same location as a junior side by side, opposed to over-under like mine. If you own one of the limited run versions, let me know if you decided to sell it as I would love to have one similar to mine that I could actually play without worry of damage to a historically significant guitar. I can prove without exception that my guitar is as stated. Let my Ebay reputation be further testament to its legitimacy.
