I tried one of these out about a week ago......

They sound nice but the magic of them is the switching options.

They are most probably the most versatile Amp on the Market now. In real terms, this Amp is better than a soldano or Mesa Boogie etc.

However they do lack the "IN YOUR FACE" of a soldano, Mesa Boogie or 5150(Yah, some 5150's are decent).

Not a steal, but standard price for what seems to be a cool amp head.

I've heard someone play through a 65 Amps head. He was getting a lot of different sounds and they all did sound mighty good. They aren't giving them away.

a soldano is like 1500 just for a 50 watt 2 channel.

Given the weakness of the Dollar to the Pound it is ($250 is about £120).

The problem here though is using an U.S spec amp at U.K voltages (we're on 240 volts) without altering the amps wiring. Yes, it's do able, but not recommeded - plug into the mains without any transformer in place and that thing will just blow.
