Depends....I do have an old Focus that has been a great guitar. They are solid wood bodied guitars and most have REAL original Floyd Rose bridges on them. Some of the early ones have the old Floyd with no fine tuners, but most are the Floyds we all know and love. They are anything but firewood in my opinion, and can be tweaked into great sounding guitars if you know what you're doing.
First thing would be to get rid of the stock pickup and put in something more desirable.
Now the Stryker series....THOSE were firewood. Plywood bodies...shit everything.

Yep, it just depends on what we do to them. The newer Kramer brand isnt total junk, but its not comparable to the old ones. Some of the new necks are nice though.
